1. How we trade

We will:

  • describe our products and prices honestly, and not make claims we cannot support
  • honour our quotations and agreements
  • pay our suppliers and subcontractors on the terms we have agreed
  • compete fairly, and never fix prices or share out customers with competitors
  • keep customers’ and suppliers’ information confidential
  • declare any conflict of interest to a director

2. Our supply chain

We are a distributor and do not manufacture. We cannot inspect every factory behind the goods we sell, so we buy from reputable UK-based suppliers and importers, and expect them to apply the standards in section 4 in their own supply chains. Our Supplier and Subcontractor Policy and Anti-Slavery Policy explain how.

3. If something is wrong

If we learn that these standards are not being met, we raise it with the supplier and ask for it to be put right. We stop buying only as a last resort. Anyone can raise a concern with a director at any time. The directors review this policy every year.

4. Standards for workers

We apply these standards, which are based on the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code, to our own staff. We expect them of our suppliers and subcontractors.
